"Filter" reveals the ephemerality of architecture through the characteristics of the material it is made from: wood. Slowly, the architecture disintegrates and large wounds appear on its surface. These wounds are a reflection of Granath´s emotional relationship to the history of these structures and the memories they evoke.

Granath skildrer gjennom verket "Filter", arkitekturens forgjengelighet gjennom treets karakter, det går sakte i oppløsning og har store sår i overflaten.  Disse sårene speiler Granaths emosjonelle relasjon til byggverkenes historie og minner. (Benedicte Sunde)
